I've been here twice now. They have a lunch buffet for just under $7/person, but the options are lackluster at best. It seems to me that they make one set of food and leave it out under the hot lamps for hours, which of course dries out the food, yet they don't seem too concerned about refilling what was eaten. So, the food that is there is often dry and sparse. Additionally, the waitstaff for lunch seems to be at once skittish and nonchalant, and actually argued with me when I asked for something from the menu, insisting that the same dish that was in the buffet was good enough. (I got the feeling that the kitchen isn't very welcoming with orders at lunchtime). However, in the evening, they don't have that buffet, and everything is made to order, and here's where this place shines. When the food is fresh, it is well done. The evening waitstaff seems to be more caring and helpful. I highly recommend their Teriyaki Chicken - it is prepared sweeter than most other versions of the dish that I have had so far, and is somewhat reminiscent of the Honey Chicken dishes that are becoming more popular. In my experiences so far, the waitstaff and cashier have all spoken English, though for some the English is more broken, as is common with Chinese restaurants. In short: If it's lunch time, make sure to get carry-out; don't sit down. If it's dinner, prepare to have a great meal.

We had supper here. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Our waitress was delightful and polite. The food was absolutely amazing. I had Dragon Phoenix, my wife had orange chicken. Both we were delicious. Plenty of food, so bring your appetite!

This is one of those hole in the wall places that is just too good to pass up. The price is good, the food is delicious, and the portions are enough to satisfy any appetite. There is also a small daily buffet that is extremely cheap. My only problem with China Garden is the limited number of items on the buffet. It's a good thing it's so cheap and everything is tasty

I have been going here off and on for at least 20 years. It is a small ,family run restaurant that has a small buffet, with take out and ordering off the menu available. The food is good but the buffet,as I said is small(,just one buffet table) but it has fried rice,loMein noodles, broccoli and beef, broccoli and chicken, fried chicken, sweet and sour chicken strips, some kind of beef on a stick ,crab Rangoon, and Chinese donuts A small side table holds either fresh or canned fruit, usually having lemon and orange slices as well as jello available ( sometimes cantalope and watermelon). Today it also had boiled ,cold shrimp in the shell. You can gets soup, but it's not on the buffet table. The waitress will bring it out to you,but you need to ask. Drinks are always filled quickly and the owners know almost everyone by name and even if they don't,they are super friendly. I have never seen any bugs here and it is always clean!
