We had our wedding reception here in 2003 and it was fabulous. Things have changed the old fine dining practices have changed as jackets are no longer required and service is not as attentive as it once was. However the food is still the top of the top. The steak was gigantic and cooked to perfection. Its served on a wood carving board and sliced in the kitchen. Forget about it the best Steak I have eaten period! We are on the wall of the Palm in the main dining room so we eat there often but this is the next step up. Drinks were perfect and wine list is very impressive, half bottles are available. Tony still is at the top.

My wife and I sat by the window watching people on Michigan Ave and Lake Shore Drive hurry by, as we enjoyed taste by taste of our menu. The staff is courteous and attentive to every request. The spaghetti with black garlic and sea urchin was incredible! The sommelier paired each wine perfectly with each entree. The chefs talents cannot be described by my words, but in the taste of each and every bite. Every dish was perfect! I highly recommend the experience for anyone who visits Chicago.

An absolutely fantastic experience Brilliant wine matching by the very talented staff Delicious food cooked to perfection and a fabulous setting. Loved the aperitif made especially for the owners wife ! The homemade bread heavenly. Your wine glasses are the best I’ve ever seen ! 10/10 would return in a heartbeat 💗
