This place is a gem! The food is (chef's kiss), is phenomenal. The staff and especially the owner, great people. So much more on the menu I want to try. Beer selection absolutely goes well with everything I've had so far. So long as the place is there, it's going on my permanent recommendation list for German cuisine in Chicago.
