I know the menu rotates, but the brussel sprout flatbread was one of the best things I’ve had in a while.
And the “Feeling Toasted” cocktail was so lovely.
Atmosphere was great, service was helpful and friendly, and the live dj at happy hour was working the room. Sad they’re not open on the weekends. Definitely, definitely will be back.
Love the atmosphere. Really nice cafe for remote work. I also love the fact that they have the maple walnut milk as an alternative to dairy milk. It does something extra special for my chai late.
This cafe is such a vibe. The furniture, design, layout is impeccable. There’s a place to sit and work on your computer or lounge and talk with your friends or sit and read a book in a nook or just be emo if you’re feeling moody.
But let’s talk about coffee. Bro! Their drip coffee sent me. A fiesta of complexity in my mouth I tell ya. I was told that they feature beans from various black owned businesses. This one is from Bamenda Coffee: The Chicago Dark Roast. Don’t skimp on their breakfast sandwich either. It won’t disappoint. Get those avo and roasted red pepper add ons, too!
Just note that they have a limited menu at this time, which is my personal preference so that’s gr8. Also, complementary Topo Chico?! No way.
All that said, follow them on insta. Get to know their story. That’s the best part.
