I'm slowly becoming a bigger fan of this place. The have a few brews the do right in house. Always rotating. I recommend trying a few. They are all great. Menu has many options from salads all the way up to some brisket platters. My experience is the food is above average for the area and decently priced. And don't forget the free cornbread. Very nice interior with a few tvs with sports one. Always great music playing at a nice level. Summertime allows you to sit on an outdoor patio. It has never really seemed to "fill" up in there, but maybe I have not been in on the right nights. Still one of the better spots on the strip of bars and restaurants in the area.
Spacious yet intimate, relaxed but hip. Everything on the menu I've had has been exceptional from steak tips to shrimp and grits. The meats are house smoked, and they make the best pastrami I've had. As for cocktails, you must try the Paloma, and the Mad Mouse beers are exceptional. It's well worth the drive to Maxwell street. And if you're in the area, what are you waiting for?
Great airy space with attentive staff and terrific food. The specialty cocktails are tasty especially the Moscow Mule and the Paper Plane. The gumbo had a nice little kick and the required gumbo file flavor. The stars on the menu are the pastrami sandwich, anything from the "smokehouse," and the plank salmon. Looking forward to some tasty beer coming out of the attached brewery.
