Love this place! The perfect neighborhood bar/hangout. Friday fish fry is always on point. The staff is very friendly and services is amazing. Highly recommend.
I had a private birthday party at Burke's and it was an excellent experience. The events coordinator was extremely friendly, flexible, and completely willing to do whatever she could to help make the day special and hassle-free. Huge perks in choosing Burke's: it's steps from the Red Line, super friendly and cozy neighborhood atmosphere, customizable food/drink offerings and private bartender, use of sound system (I made my own playlist and ran it through the speakers), and definitely the best "bar food" around (though I hesitate to call it that because it's so good). When I forgot a birthday card, I got a text from the event coordinator and the next day, the card was waiting securely for me, it wasn't just thrown out. Because I live in a small apartment, the thought of ever hosting a party seemed very far-fetched to me, but now I would not hesitate to use Burke's private party room again. Highly recommend!!
Ever since I first walked in, this place has greeted me like family. Their food is reasonable and delicious. Exactly the neighborhood bar I was searching for where I can enjoy a meal, watch the game or just drop in for a pint.
