Overall: Great spot for some casual Venezuelan. Not too fancy, but not street food quality either. Definitely hits the spot!
The good: The food is ahhhmazing. The cachapa, which I'd never had before, was cheesy, savory, and somewhat sweet, and was great. The pabellon bowl was hearty, warm, and flavorful. The service was friendly and the menu all seemed authentic and fitting. Prices are reasonable too.
The not so good: Our table was wobbly. The water was never refilled for our table (the pitcher we got that is). The atmoshere, while good, could use a little more homey-ness.

The food, music, decor and even wait staff here are extremely authentic and enjoyable! The lunch special is an amazing deal: small bowl of lentil soup to start, cheese arepa, bowl of rice, beans, chicken or steak, pico de gallo, topped with a delicious light sauce that perfectly complements it. Pro tip: put some meat and pico in your arepa for a special, authentic treat! I need to come back here for dinner! Yum and so much fun!
Very good food. Love the bowls and have never had better fried plantains. Also have very good/unique juice options. Big fan of the Venezuelan Lemonade. Not super cheap but I think the portions reflect their price well and the taste of them makes the dishes worth even more than they cost.
