SO I don't even live here (I'm here visiting from Philly) and I fell in love with New Wave... and now I desperately wish I DID live here so I could become a regular. But it's the kind of place where even I, an out-of-towner, automatically felt like a regular. The baristas are so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the coffee and treats are delicious. This is the kind of place I'd like to park myself for an entire Saturday with a good book, or even a weeknight to get some work done in a relaxed yet upbeat setting. Seriously, so sad this place isn't my local coffee shop. If it's yours, I'm very jealous!
Great coffee all the time.
I would never write a review BUT I have to defend the baristas at New Wave from the last reviewer who felt the need to dig into the archives for quotes from bad reviews
It's a coffee shop people!
And while we're on the subject of going elsewhere as one reviewer felt the need to mention, i got charged 4 bucks at another coffee shop in Logan for a cup of milk! Milk people!!!! We've been going to New Wave since my now 10 year old was around 3, so yes that's a lot of cups of milk to go along w my order. I think at new wave it's a buck fifty and sometimes free ;)
At any rate, I've seen baristas come and go and they're all just fine & friendly peeps, so people get over yourselves and enjoy the coffee, which is very good.
Oh and I'm really liking the new croissants
A wonderful place for coffee. Everyone was superfriendly. Interesting space and worth visiting
