I actually posted about this restaurant on this page and on Moms of Beverly already. Had a burrito from the brunch menu - DELISH! Our server, Christina, was super. The busboy was so good as well. I asked him if he had a favorite and he recommended the burrito and a few others on the regular menu. The music was really good. Cocktail menu looked interesting but it was too early to sample. Could be one of my happy places!
The food was phenomenal! Started out with their guacamole and chips which was good. Then the octopus dish, that was very spicy to my liking. I ordered the chorizo with sweet potato taco and that left me wanting more. I also ordered the chicken deep
Fried torta and oh boy that was awesome.
The ambiance is really contemporary.
I loved the music they had.
Totally recommend this place. For now it’s BYOB
Yesterday was my third visit (the first was pre-liquor license, so I held out on the review).
The service was fast and friendly all three times; the food was consistently very good (the chips and guacamole are fresh and tasty, and my favorite taco is the chorizo and sweet potato—I like the flavors in the fish taco and will have it again, but there’s more breading/batter than fish); and the margaritas are great.
My picky-eater 9yo loved the quesadillas and her steak tacos. Her only complaint was the lime on the plate alongside her tacos. When I told her some people like to squeeze lime on their tacos, she said, “I’m a kid, not a fancy person!” So there’s that.
Great job, Americanos! A solid addition to the neighborhood.
