Beautiful art deco building which is in excellent condition. Feels like there’s a lot of history here (aside from the actual museums). We went to the Christmas train demonstration and it was very worth the money. Lots of different dioramas and even a model of Cincinnati which changes throughout the day.
Tip: if you stand in the front corners you can whisper across the hall because of the acoustics.
A Cincinnati delight. We spent the afternoon here. First to see the IMAX movie. The theater and film were fantastic. 3 adults and 3 children under 10 were amazed and thrilled with the film. You will not leave disappointed. After the show we went to see the model train exhibit, more eye candy. The folks who run this are amazing. Lots of talent here. We left the train exhibit to see the Lego display. Literally thousands of Lego figures, villages, buildings and themes from Star Wars to pirate ships. Be amazed with the talented folk that put this display together. You will be amazed. The grand kids could not get enough.
This place is amazing! I used my reciprocal membership at another science museum to get in, and my family and I explored the Cinci history museum, natural history museum, and the children’s museum. All of these museums were not only perfect for my 3 and 6 year old, but my husband, mom in law and I thoroughly enjoyed them, too. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars was the food- it was overpriced and underwhelming. I highly recommend eating elsewhere prior to coming here. Aside from that, I loved every bit of the experience.
