Kim was thoughtful and detailed and the food was wonderful. Lovely experience all around, would highly recommend. The hamachi crudo was great as well as the winter pizza and swordfish. Loved the duck spring rolls as well. Intimate cozy modern and stylish vibe.
Billie Jean surpassed all expectations. The food had incredible flavor, the steak was cooked perfect and the finger ling potatoes were perfect. The only thing rivaling the food was the service. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will be returning for sure.
Starting with the ambience - it is very small in a good way. Each table is perfectly lit from above and you really don't see or feel close to the tables next to you. It has a sexy moodiness to it. The service was wonderful. It was team work. The food was delicious. Everything I had or shared had an Asian influence. Some dishes might not be a bit spicy for a few people. I can't do a lot of "heat"myself, but I thought they were perfect. I had the warm mushroom salad and the green curry muscles. The ribs were fresh, flavorful, and not over done with sauce. The salad with the ginger dressing was delicious as well. My mother had the steak/fries and that was a winner too. I think the owner has created another winning restaurant and for sure a gem in the hood. BTW bar area looked pretty cool, too.
