Ice cream was pretty good. The waffle cones had a cinnamon flavor to it, which was actually a nice addition to the flavor.
The service was a little slow and kinda weird, as the person taking orders was also the one fulfilling them while there were other people working. Not sure why, but that didn't take away from the experience.
The Moose on the Loose ice cream tasted great, with lots of chucks of flavor within it. The salted peanut butter cup was solid ice cream. The Java chunk has coffee bean chunks to add to the coffee flavor.
Overall, it was solid ice cream.
Overall, it is the best ice cream I've had in Colorado Springs. However, some of the seasonal/top shelf flavors are a bit hit-and-miss. On top of this, if you order a specialty flavor with a waffle cone expect to spend $7+ on an ice cream cone, which is a bit pricey in my opinion.
Yum. Yum, Yum.
We're so Fortunate to have josh and john's in our neighborhood. They have a good selection of homemade ice creams with wonderful waffle cone dishes and cones.
We tried three flavors, and each was an excellent blend of creamy ice cream with just the right amount of sweet and chocolate and berry flavors. They were all fabulously delicious.
They also have a great atmosphere for just hanging out. We saw all kinds of people from the neighborhood from young people to old folks. Everybody's welcome, and there's something that everybody will enjoy.
Check them out when you can.
