I have no idea how anyone could have bad service or food here. I've been going to Silver Pond for the last three years and each and every time I come in, the food has been just plain awesome. My friends and I get seated right away. We are a young geeky crowd and always get treated wonderfully. Never once had bad service even when I was new in town. Getting take out only takes about 5-10 minutes so I'm in and out. Water is quickly given to us if we come to dine in and our orders are taken right away. And all the food has been fresh. I eat here 3 times a week, some weeks more and end up getting several things. Jenny and her husband are always super friendly and are very attentive to the needs of their customers. They have been training a lot of staff, but I never once heard the owners raise their voices at anyone working there, especially when Jenny is so soft spoken. I've noticed her treating her employees like family and always laughing and joking around with them. But the food is always cooked to perfection. I order many items on the menu--the best being their sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli. I've also ordered their fried rice dishes, numerous noodle dishes, tofu dishes, mongolian beef, chow mein, ginger chicken, sweet and sour, mu shoo. They have the best spring rolls I've ever tried and I've been all over the US at various Chinese restaurants in my travels. Also try their Thai milk tea, its freshly brewed and incredible. LOVE this place! PS--'Some' of the negative reviews just sound to me like a bunch of cranky people with nothing better to do than complain at everything. They probably brought the bad service upon themselves. Such a shame that many just don't have good manners these days.
