First, beautiful space - I love the European vibes. Second, staff is wonderful - super friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Third, wine selection is second to none! Great selection of organic wines you won't find on offer anywhere else in Columbia - or SC for that matter (probably even the southeast?). Constantly bringing in new selections on an already unique list.
If you enjoy wine, it is a must. If you feel meh about wine, they will find something you like. If you think you hate wine, they can probably change your mind. Do yourself a favor and go!
Lula Drake is a terrific place to enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the company of others who share your appreciation of excellent libation. Jessica in particular is exceptionally quallified as a sommelier to guide your choose of wine. Also Caitlin and the other wait staff are so attentive and eager to ensure you feel welcome and have a fun experience. The appetizers and desserts are remarkable. A perfect place to go before or after a movie, a play, the ballet or any other time.
This place really is a notch above any bar or restaurant in Columbia. Made great by the true passion the owner, Tim, has for wine. The wine is incredible, the food is spectacular and the atmosphere is cozy and classy. Get a seat at the bar, it's worth the wait, Kaylen is among the best bartenders in this city.
