I was in a hurry this morning for an appointment. I did my best to try to enjoy my food. But Miss Ashley was a delight! She did answer her leg or foot, so it's going to take some time to heal, but be patient with her. What I really love is that you weren't picky about where you can take a seat. You are allowed to sit wherever you like.
The lady who owned it unfortunately passed away 10 years ago, but their granddaughter and daughters are highly involved in the business. And I do come by on and off.
I can't wait to get back and try the pies, which I heard was so delicious. I think I found another favorite eating place!
Everything looked great, and my blueberry pancakes actually had a lot of blueberries in it, not just three of them, LOL. So if you don't eat all your food, expect to take a doggy bag home.
Mama's Daughters' Diner is a cute little mom and pop cafe that is great for a traditional breakfast. This place does get pretty busy on the weekends, but the service is fast and we haven't had to wait too long for a table. We have only eaten breakfast here, but it is a great meal! The portions are standard for breakfast and the prices are reasonable. We do not eat breakfast meat and while they do not allow substitutions on breakfast specials 1-4, I was able to order a special without meat for the same price. The biscuits appear homemade, and the gravy is creamy. I did have an issue with a hair being found in my food, but I brought this up to the waitress who apologized and had my food remade. Definitely will eat here again!
If you like old style diners that serve home style food, this is the place for you. The customer service is amazing. You get 3 sides with your lunch specials, and the food came out within 5 minutes. We went at 11:45 middle of lunch and no problem getting in, ordering and leaving within an hour. Food was served hot and was very good. Will go back for lunch again next week.
