The food was such a treat, especially after being disappointed by our last few strays on our go-to date night spot (Town Hearth). The steak tartare, cheese plate, duck breast and lamb were all to die for - such a treat! We also added truffles to the risotto and enjoyed the entree as a side and would not do anything differently.
My ONLY ‘complaint’ was our server... she wasn’t terrible, but she really was disappointing compared to the server assigned to both tables on either side of us. None of the food was presented as it was to the other tables, the menu was not properly explained in the least (we had no idea the 5g truffle add on was an additional $30 to the entree until we overheard the server beside us), and when asked for her entree recommendation, she shrugged her shoulders and responded with ‘the casserole tonight is actually pretty good if you’re into casseroles’... Not a TERRIBLE answer, just not exactly good, either.
With that said, she wasn’t bad enough to ruin our wonderful culinary experience, but we will request a more seasoned (and refined) server for our future reservations.
Have dined several times at this truly fantastic restaurant. The food, the wine and drinks, the service staff, the decor, and even the valet services are all superb.(have your car cooled when you arrive for car pick up). I could lick my plate at each meal I’ve eaten. Wines are excellent ! The staff is so well versed about each menu item and so pleasant and friendly. It will surely become one of your favorite restaurants. !!!
The food was fantastic! I will judge all other French fries on Bullion’s that came with my burger was every bit as good as advertised! My wife had the duck confit and it was expertly prepared as well.
The entire staff was professional and knowledgeable! They did not forget any detail and because of them it’s 5 stars too to bottom!
The atmosphere inside is absolutely perfect. It’s the perfect mix of upscale, vintage vibes and comfort. From the very moment you walk in, the service is impeccable. Each team member, right up to the GM (Victor), greets you with a warm welcome and is extremely attentive. Where to begin with the food... the only way to describe it, is the best food I’ve ever eaten. I tried so many different things I never even imagined I’d eat, and it did not disappoint. There’s a reason Chef Bruno is so highly thought of. He is extremely talented, to say the least. As for the drinks, you’ve got to try the Old Fashioned. I don’t usually drink whiskey, but I can’t get enough of it. 5 stars to every single piece of this place. You guys nailed it!
Went there for the first time yesterday to celebrate a birthday and it was all magical. Our server Kati was attentive and kind (actually, the whole staff was) and the food was unforgettably incredible. This is probably my new favorite restaurant in Dallas.
Great job Bullion. You have a new regular.
The food is delicious, the service is excellent the ambiance the decor everything is just beautiful, this is a great place to bring a date, the dessert selection is just fabulous , i highly recommend it and i am ready to go back, thank you to the staff and specially they GM who took the time to go and check on us to make sure everything was perfect , Victor and his staff are amazing!!!
Great place! Looks like a restaurant that would be from NYC or London. We are deciding it's going to be our regular bar and restaurant. Great drinks and wine list, fabulous service, delicious food. Dallas is moving up!
Beautiful restaurant, one of a kind artwork, excellent service and staff, and even better food and cocktails. The bar/lounge area is so perfectly done. Great for a quick drink with friends, or for a chill night out.
What a treat for Dallas! Truly amazing and very well curated. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere and design will impress. The food is truly a delight and the experience was overall amazing!
The location and Decor is among the best Dallas has to offer. NYC type dining experience looking over a park to Union Station. The bar was amazing and the restaurant with its gold ceiling floored me. The food was great but not what I consider to be 5 star, more like 4 stars. The cod was delicious but lacked that certain gen a se qua I was hoping for. Same was true of the salad and the baked Alaska. I will frequent this place without a doubt but I feel the menu and food needs to be worked on to make this all it can be. It needs some signature dishes that will keep me coming back for more.
Everything was gold from the decor to the reception to the yummy French delights ( even the outside, elevator and bathroom were golden ) thank you chef Davaillon for creating this beautiful concept
Went for our anniversary. Great service, impeccable food, perfect evening. We had the cheese puffs, foie gras, duck and cod. The chocolate bar dessert was delicious, a must try! We will be back.

EXCELLENT Service! The Buillion Burger is amazing and the fries were the best I have ever had! Easy to access with the valet right at the door step downtown. It shouldn't go without saying that I felt like I was in a 1940's Hollywood Celebrities Yacht, the decor was magnificent.
A must eat there experience. We tasted about 50% of the menu and everything was fantastic. Great wine selection and cocktails were excellent too. 10 stars in my book.
What an unusually lovely spot! Stunning area all the way around. Food was sublime, service was perfect....all the little touches were there. I recommend you try this wonderful food Chef Davaillon has prepared
Excellent ambiance and dining experience. Great views of the Trinity from the bar and a nice classy, but relaxed atmosphere. Feels like we are levatating over Dallas. The food is excellent and the service was superb. Some of the standouts were the bison and the souffle.
Nice service, perfect food. I like the atmosphere which is divided in 2 different ways. The dishes I tried were perfect. I cannot remember the names and it was my first time to have fried beef in a fine dining. The interior and exterior of the dining were great especially the bathroom. The only thing I would like to suggest is about the menu book. Every name of the dishes were in Franch, it was a bit difficult to understand directly even though there were explanation under the name in English.
Great service and atmosphere. Coffee and Dessert selections were actually quite excellent. Came here with friend for a birthday dinner. I took a star off since my entree turned a bit salty. Needs better integration between the seasoning and the meat across the meaty selections. I would suggest to opt for the daily entree selections.

First time at this restaurant and it was excellent! We both chose seafood dishes and both were on point. The dessert was wonderful as well. Definitely will come back.
This restaurant was AMAZING! My husband and I were planning on having dessert and cocktails here, however that changed when we looked over the menu. He had the potato leek soup, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I had the scallops, and I’m so glad I did. They were like butter and so tasty! The desserts were everything I ever wanted and more; the chocolate soufflé was delicious and is a must try.
The waitstaff was very attentive, never let our water get empty, was on top of making the table look nice before each course, and so personable. This place is a must when in Dallas!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we were very happy with the food! We were greeted very nicely, and got seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful.
Everything we ordered came out amazing:
- Appetizer: We got the foie gras with marmalade.
- Entrees: I got the Canard a L'orange, duck with radish, endive, orange marmalade and it was cooked perfectly. The portion was good, I actually was pretty full by the end (given also I was eating the delicious bread basket). My husband got the Wednesday special: calamari stuffed sausage ratatouille. It was so flavorful!
- Dessert: we got the Peche Melba. The poached peaches were done perfectly, the jellies add interesting texture, and caramelized almonds with vanilla ice cream all together made it so good!
Service was average surprisingly. Our waitress only checked on us once during our meal. Also, definitely do valet parking ($5).
We still very much enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
I don't know How or Where they found Pablo Escobar's interior decorator, buuuut it appears they've done it!!!
Wow, what a style!! You have got to see this place!!! I can't even tell you the visions I had strolling into this place. Take you right back to the early 80's!!! The wild early 80's.
Make no mistake, this place is beautiful and done to the hilt!!! Gold, Gold, Gold!!!!
OK, aside from the visual phenomenon, let's talk eats!!
If you want it done right, This is the place!!!
I went for lunch. Steak Tar Tar is like none other. I had a steak and fries, thinking I wasnt gonna be impressed. Come on a steak and fries, right! WRONG!!! This wasn't any regular steak, it was awesome!! And the fries were so unique, I actually asked the chef about them, to which he explained a five step process to get them the way he wanted them. I thought I was listening to a chemistry class or something!!! It was insane!!!
Avocado salad, add the salmon steak. Boom!!!
Cooked perfectly, as if you thought you knew what perfect tasted like, NO, try this, then you will know what a perfectly cooked salmon steak tastes like!!! Best I've ever had on both the surf and the turf!!
I was seriously impressed, blown away!!
I know my friend said this place was good, but that was an under statement.
Desserts, had these little pound cake things that just came out of the oven, all hot and tasty. Black forest cake with raspberry or somethin sorbet and an apple thing with vanilla ice cream. All amazing, and I don't even like apple things, but this was different!!
Whoever is doin this kitchen, their chef's, Bruno, Oliver, these cats got it Goin on!!
Staff was good and the prices were very affordable. I was surprised. I expected a much higher priced menu. I think the steak was less than 25 bucks and the salad, abou 22 or so. I looked over the dinner menu and didn't see anything over 50 dollars except maybe one big steak thing at 115.
I can't wait to go back for dinner
A must if you're in Dallas!!
Was in town for a Marketing Conference and the Marketing team decided to choose the restrarant as they were from out of town. And I must say they choose a very nice place. I was escorted by security up the stairs when I arrived at night. And the nighttime view of this area with the christmas lights was just gorgeous. After talking with the hostess, I had to use the restroom, and was very impressed, very clean, cool technology, and I knew I was in a 5 star place from the get go. Then we ordered the food, they actually forgot some wine that was ordered at the table, but it eventually came, not enough to take away from the experience. But I ordered the Duck, and it was very good, I had not had Duck before in many years, so it was a pleasant dining experience.
Dinner for our anniversary, simply wonderful! From cocktails in the lounge to our amazing dinner and the attentive yet reserved service, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! The art deco felt like you were on a luxury yacht in this suspended and floating space in Downtown Dallas. This is a MUST DO dining experience in Dallas. Five Stars!
I LOVE LOVE the food here! My favorite restaurant has always been nick and Sam’s but this place has topped it off! I still love Nick and Sam’s but the ambience here is so much better! I love that i don’t have to shout at the top of my lungs for my fellow diners to hear me. I also love the stellar service and food here! I have not been disappointed at all with each time I have been here! Thank you for an amazing experience!
Possibly one of the best restaurants in Dallas. Their menu is perfect and everything from the starters to dessert will blow you away. Knowledgeable staff and artfully prepared dishes. Don’t skip out on the cheese puffs or the lamb. Save room for dessert!
We went for our anniversary - I hope they open up again soon!
I keep hoping when I search this that the temporarily closed banner will be taken down. This place made me love French cuisine. I ate here 3 times before COVID because once I went twice I had to keep taking people back. I hope it opens again and it is just as good as it was before the pandemic.
Amazing Space - Food - Service
If you wish to go beyond the dining experience and discover truly artful cuisine then look into Bullion - Dallas.
The space is amazing, but oddly the service out shines the space, until you taste the food.
I was left feeling I have been tricked and it was some kind of illusion.
No - I was right, this place is Amazing.
We will be back soon, with more soon to be impressed out of town guests.
We celebrated 20 years of marriage at Bullion on a Saturday night. It will be remembered as a dinner of firsts for us!. Sara K, our server and guide for the evening, recommended several options from the menu to pull our dinner completely together. I was also very thankful to the in-house Sommelier for confirming a choice of wine I had selected from the Loire Valley to accompany our main dish.
Great flavors, chef really captures the elements described in each menu item. The Orange duck & halibut are superb. Pistachio ice cream is delicious, not overly sweet.
Bullion was delicious from start to finish. We we're celebrating my nephew's birthday and had a table with a great view. The service was attentive and not overbearing. My martini was prepared to perfection. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the French fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely a keeper.
Stop everything you are doing and come down here to enjoy the awesome food and lovely decor. I had the market fish sandwich as main and sorbet/ice cream (prune and carrot/Mandarin) for dessert. The sandwich is just mouthwatering and the ice cream is one of the best I've ever had.
I absolutely love Bullion. The food is exquisite and the views are very nice. The restaurant is elevated and enhances the experience and feeling if luxury. It has a relaxed but upscale atmosphere with a reminiscent but refreshed take on art deco and post modern decor. The happy hour is great, and I definitely recommend the oysters with a nice rye Old Fashioned. Definitely a must visit restaurant for Dallas!
