Stopped in for a late lunch, based on good reviews.
The food was fresh, hot, and tasty.
Place was clean and empty, but received a lot of to go orders while we were there.
Everything was good and worth trying. Considering we were the only customers, we had to ask for drink refills, which is the reason for 3 stars on service.
Ambiance. A casual atmosphere, the place was fully organized, clean and with the different seating arrangement it can carry big partis and small ones.
Services. Staff were very quick and friendly. I noticed a few other full tables and lots of takeout orders but still they manage to be fast, efficient and keep our drinks full.
Food. The dishes are fresh, have a great flavor and so many options. As you can get a mix of Thai or Sushi. Great in taste, and the size of the meal was acceptable too compared to the prices which is very reasonable in comparison to other Thia halal restaurants.
Chicken Pad Thai, Thai herbal chicken and pepper steak are the classic dishes, and I would say they were well done, the food was perfectly prepared and seasoned to please your taste buds. For me, that means anything else on the menu must be that much and more.
The orange chicken was tangy and zesty, and the chicken was crispy.
The tom yum gai soup was delicious. Loved the Eel with rice bowl.
The tuna tower and their sushi were very well received and enjoyed I am guessing from everyone.
I will definitely visit again to try more Entrées.
The Tom Kha Goong was dialed down to the requested spice level. Abundant jumbo shrimps and the signature flavors ensured consumption to the last drop.
The Pad Woon Sen had tell-tale signature of stir fry at very high heat. There were plenty of beef slices.
The Crispy Red Snapper was breaded - not my cup of tea because I prefer mine directly fried/grilled. Sizable quantity of mixed vegetables and rice were the accompaniment.
We settled for fried banana and coconut Ice-Cream with dollops of cream meant for sharing.
Stopped in for dinner on Father's Day... My 1st visit, came because of the soft shell crab on the menu and BYOB ! The soft shell crab was a good crispy appetizer battered in tempura, served on daikon and drizzled with eel sauce. The papaya salad also tasted great and I loved the way the papaya was thickly sliced. Green curry with tofu was a thinner sauce than I would prefer, but still flavourful, served with rice and finally the Lad na noodles were garlickly yummy served with a savory brown gravy which I added shrimp to. Service was personable and I was checked on regularly. They do a lot of take out business but your order comes out fairly quickly. The level 3 spice of my green curry was hardly noticeable so next time I will try a level 4. Portions were a good size and reasonably priced.
Everything was SUPER good. We ordered the Volcano Roll (Crawfish) and the Triplet Favor Bowl 🔥
AMAZING FOOD!!!!! My fiance and I was on our way to another event. The traffic was so heavy here in the DFW that we decided not to attend. However, we were hungry. We drove and drove around. Found this place on Waze. We were skeptic because when we are hungry we don't like to try new places. Just in case we get disappointed. Zato did not disappoint AT ALL! It's a small establishment with great food! Service was over the top! We will go back. Thank you Zato!
Holy wow. I was just trying something new on UberEats (the Thai herbal chicken fried rice to be exact), and now Zato is EASILY the best Thai food I’ve ever had! It arrived hot and fresh. Nice packaging. Good portion- it ended up being three meals for me! Would have been nice to have a little more chicken, but the rice was so delicious and flavorful that it didn’t really matter. All of the flavors, the basil, the onion, the tomato… blend SO well together. My tastebuds were dancing. I can’t wait to try another dish from here. If you’re scrolling through reviews wondering if you should try this or not, DO IT! 5/5
I had an excellent time and the food was very fresh! Amazing quality and well priced, great for any outing and any number of people
We took the chili pepper steak and thai noodles. Both of them were great in taste, and the size of the meal was acceptable too. The seating arrangement is great, too.
The restaurant had many pickup orders when we dined in, but our meal was served in less than 8 mins.
The food is halal, which I confirmed on the phone before visiting and also in the restaurant before ordering. They have a halal sign on the main door.
They have spice level from 1 to 5. I requested level 4, but that was not spicy for me.
I will definitely visit again to try more Entrées.
We visited today, oh! We enjoyed their California roll & Philadelphia roll (cooked) soooo good. Also their Pad Thai, oh my!! So delicious!
