It is rare to find a restaurant that can serve a good sushi menu as well as a traditional Asian menu without one losing it's personality. Izakaya RoMan pulls it off impressively. The tapas were distinctive and well prepared while the sushi skillfully composed. Some street parking is available or there is valet. They do provide heavy sake pours as well. Overall highly recommended.

This is a relatively new business in the area so I went to go see how it functions and how their food tastes. I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend to anyone looking for good, authentic Japanese food in the Oaklawn area. They have a great happy hour, a nice Eastern ambiance and delicious food cooked to order.

Good food once we got passed the newbie waitress and her errors... . Enjoyed the specialty Sushi rolls, the yakatori hearts and zinger shishito peppers. As for cocktails: delicious.
