Hard to find - it’s in the pedestrian walkway under the Bank of America building. Makes it nice and cool and a welcome respite from the heat outside. And you know what, the coffee was pretty good actually 😋😎
Urban Coffee is a staple for those who use the tunnels on the west half of downtown. The shop is privately owned, but serve Starbucks coffee. The owner of often behind the registry and is very friendly. Great place to grab a quick drink. They also sell basic snacks and breakfast items, like muffins.

Urban Coffee - A Refreshing Alternative to Starbucks in Downtown Dallas
Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Urban Coffee, a delightful coffee shop situated in the Bank of America building in downtown Dallas. Although this establishment offers Starbucks-branded coffee, it operates independently, possibly as a franchise.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming cashier who ensured that my experience was nothing short of enjoyable. A pleasant surprise awaited me as I discovered that the prices at Urban Coffee were notably more affordable than those at a typical Starbucks location.
The service was remarkably fast, and in no time, I received my iced mocha coffee, expertly prepared to satisfy my caffeine cravings. Alongside their coffee offerings, Urban Coffee showcased an impressive selection of muffins, which stood out due to their unique square shapes and delectable appearance.
In all seriousness, these tantalizing treats looked truly irresistible and, combined with the shop's budget-friendly pricing, make Urban Coffee an attractive option for those seeking a quality coffee experience in downtown Dallas.
In conclusion, Urban Coffee offers a refreshing alternative to Starbucks, with its warm and personable service, speedy preparation, and enticing baked goods. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a satisfying coffee experience at a competitive price point in the heart of downtown Dallas.
