Tiny hole in the wall spot on Mission. you could probably drive by it and not even notice. Definitely seems like a family-run operation.
Although small their menu is pretty extensive. came here on a Friday night and luckily we came at the time we did. After we sat down it seemed like a rush of people came and the entire restaurant was full.
We ordered four dishes. One of my absolute favorite dishes, hung tao yee fu wonton, was fantastic! The combination of crispy wontons and flavorful soup was perfect. Definitely something you should order. Next up was salt and pepper porkchops. Nicely fried and very crispy. We got two vegetable dishes. The eggplant was very good. We also got pea sprouts. Unfortunately I didn't eat them because I was way too full, but my parents said they were good!
Although this is a small restaurant, this place provides huge portions for what they charge. I suggest coming early so you don't have to wait.
My favorite Chinese food in the neighborhood, not only is it authentic but portions are huge! I usually order beef and tofu and shrimp scramble with a side of rice, comes out to $22.30. The owner is also very nice and remembers your order. I highly recommended this restaurant.
Very good price. Foods decent if you know what to get. Beef stew's their specialty. Rice plates, chow fun, chow mein under $8.
