Regular Waffle House restaurant located at the side of the road (I was on the need for a cup of coffee!!). Food and experience is consistent with the overall chain. Highlight of the visit: service was very-very fast and right on point.

Outstanding service in a friendly environment. Just came here on a family emergency and needed a place to eat while waiting for some hopeful news. I felt so comfortable in here and the food was what my heart needed. The last time I was in GA was during my service in the Army.

I don't think there is such a thing as a bad experience you can have at any Waffle House, they are like Chick-fil-A in many senses, great friendly staff, quick fast service, and good consistent food. The Dawsonville Waffle House is one of the best, surpassing even the excellent service I am used to at the other locations. I was greeted as I walked in the door and found the restaurant clean and neat inside with plenty of staff. As I selected a seat I was handed a menu and given silverware as my drink order was taken. Thirty seconds after I walked in I had my drink at my table and was placing my order. My order was cooked to my specification and on my table in less than five minutes while my tea was refilled. As usual, my order was perfect and just as I had ordered it. I even had the cook and one of the wait staff ask how my order was in addition to being asked by my designated waitress. I am always amazed at the efficiency of the staff at Waffle House, they stay busy and have constant orders but are always accurate and quick. The staff is always happy and friendly, you wonder how some places manage to find employees that seem to be passionate about doing their job While at other businesses it is hard to get staff to act as if they care. Waffle House always has the right recipe and is a pleasure to dine at!
