Met some friends here for dinner and it turned out to be a great experience. The waitress was very kind and timely. The food was delicious and came in pretty large portions. None of us could decide on just one thing, so we all ended up picking off of each others plates. After our friends left we got a dessert which finished the meal off perfectly. Will definitely be back soon.
What a delightful eatery! We stopped in after having visited Simply Pure just to have a drink and appetizer. I enjoyed an adult beverage-Hard Honey Lemonade, while he had a refreshing ginger ale. The catfish nuggets we shared where divine!!! But what we enjoyed most was the atmospheric; Absolutely chill...nice place to enjoy the conversation of someone special and dream about what's to come. We will be back to sample the other menu items before heading back to second city.
We went for restaurant week and had so much fun. The atmosphere was great, staff was knowledgeable and attentive. We started off with drinks, and they suggested an excellent whiskey; my bloody mary with a huge slice of bacon was delicious. The jerk wings were more salty than jerk, but still tasty. Gumbo was very good and the kale salad was amazing! The way the goat cheese melts on the just crisped kale..yum. The ribs and shrimp and grits were both excellent.
We live closer to another creole restaurant in Denver, and this was SO much better. We will be back!
