We love The Grateful Gnome! Yummy sandwiches that are loaded with meat, lots of bread choices...even Rosenberg's bagels or a gluten free wrap, a vegwich that doesn't skimp on fillings either, great beers, friendly staff, a great space to watch a game or bring a big group of friends! Berkeley needed a place just like this, we go at least once a week. Thank you Dan!

I came in for a quick beer and sandwich- mostly to try out the deli... and holy moly am I happy that I did! The sandwich was HUGE and all the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. The beer wasn’t bad either � I highly recommend coming by for food and drinks.

Stopped in for Bess’ IPA Giggity and a Rueben sandwich. Excellent flavor and huge sandwich! Great vibe and friendly for kids too (had my 3 month old in tow). This will be my new regular hangout!
