Decent breakfast. Not too busy for a Saturday morning at 10 am. I had a pancake and eggs, but the eggs were virtually tasteless. My husband ordered cream-creamed beef and home style potatoes, plus a side of scrapple- delicious! Service is friendly and atmosphere is cozy.
In the mood for a sit down, classic American breakfast, we stopped at Countrie Eatery, located along the shore of Silver Lake. I ordered the Sunrise, which comes with one of each: egg, bacon, sausage, scrapple and your choice of French toast or a pancake. Since I'm from Oregon I had heard of scrapple but had never tried it. Our waitress couldn't believe we had never had it before but this is a regional food that is not found in the Northwest. Anyway, it was a welcome addition to our food experience as it's a nice combination of meaty, salty, crunchy goodness. My eggs, sausage and bacon were all delicious and the pancake was large, occupying its own plate. Our server put up with us disoriented out-of-towners admirably.

The restaurant is clean and welcoming. It's was fun watching the water birds taking off and landing on the lake that the restaurant is on. The wait staff was friendly and quick. The food was fine, I was little disappointed when the corned beef hash I order was from a can. The daily muffin was delicious. We came in for a Sunday brunch, we where only given the breakfast menu, even though we found that they were serving lunch.
