The fireplace doesn't work but the bartender is great and makes up for it. The food is decent and served pretty quickly. I had the special for the week and it was not bad but it was only fish and chips. My friend had a steak and it looked good with a nice cook on it.
Located inside the Holiday Inn. This is a good choice if you're not looking for anything specific.
Pros: Service was fast and friendly. Full bar. We ordered salads and they were large, with plenty of toppings and looking very fresh. The grilled chicken was really tender and well-marinated. Good value, as most entrees were about $12 before tax and tip, and a large glass of wine was $8.
Cons: Limited menu with a few apps, 5 sandwiches, 5 salads. Wine list just OK with only 2 reds.
Although they were unable to seat indoors and were operating with only half their menu (this the four stars), the food we were able to order (club sandwich, Southwest chicken sandwich and fries) were well above average in quality and served with apologetic smiles. I would love to eat here again when this second wave of the pandemic is over.
I've eaten at many hotel restaurants over the past 40 years and for price and quality, this one is near the top of my list.
I hope they keep up the good work and wish them well.
