Wow! Wow! Wow! This review is long overdue, we ordered takeout from Aki on New Years Eve, when they seemed to be very busy. We ordered online, then drove to pickup, other than standing in line behind some rude people, we got our food almost right away and left in a hurry, not checking our food before we hurried out of the store and back home, since the bags were big and full with all of the things that we ordered. Well, we were rewarded for our faith, everything was perfect, and just as we ordered it. Not only that, but it was obvious that great care was taken to pack us up. We ordered 4 hibachi meals with two meats each, each of which came with soup, salad, 2 sauces, rice, veggies and meats. We also got two sushi rolls. Everything was packed lovingly and even with cardboard layers to keep things from getting crushed or knocked over. And the best part?! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything hot was still hot and fresh! I cannot wait to go back! If their takeout on a busy night was that impressive I absolutely cannot wait to eat in the dining room, and to takeout again. Thanks for making our 2021 New Year special Aki! I look forward to coming back!

Best sushi I’ve had in a while! Also the first restaurant I’ve gone to since COVID that did everything right! Best sushi in Englewood.
