The best Chinese Chilli Dumping in US that I have ever had! The wrapper is so soft and smooth. We read the reviews from Yelp before going there and order the menu#6 right away. It is really worth to try this dumplings... so good.
We went pass by this place many times but we had never tried until we searched for new place to try. It is a small Chinese restaurant
Its location is not easy to be noticed but not too hard to find. We did research and see the photo of this restaurant. I am not sure they could speak much English so we make sure what number to order and order with the cook. The old man made our dish and the old lady served us. We tried the dumpling other place nearby and were surprised how good this dumpling here is. It was so tasty and juicy.
Flushing Food Tour Must..... White Bear makes fantastic dumplings in a little tiny shop that is more like as a dumpling stall. Hole in the Wall City.....
You can watch your dumplings/won tons being made. Making the dough, the skins, fillings......
I love the spicy won tons, the pickles and chili oil are unique. This should be a must stop on the Prince St. Flushing Cheap Eats Tour. Which I think would also include Nan Xiang, Happy Beef Noodle House, Sunway and Sifu Chio with a quick detour to Xi'an Famous Foods.
The friendly charm about eating in Flushing is that it is cheap and good. It may not be healthy but damn good. Since there are so many restaurants in Flushing, there gotta be something special about a place that survives with nothing esthetically special about it. It is time to put on the adventure coon hat and see how this White Bear animal lives!
