Before you judge, the 4 stars is not for the buffet, it's for the dim sum brunch. Mind you that I never really liked going to buffets until my co-workers mention the crazy deal that's been crowding this place during lunch time:
9am - 4pm
Mondays - Fridays: Small to Large plates are $1.75
Saturdays - Sundays: Small to Large plates are $2.50
NO tips or service charge
o_o It's. So. Cheap. Can it actually be edible?
Yes it can! And it tastes pretty decent too. The rice rolls, the fried shrimp balls, they all tastes.... normal. And there's really good Almond Tofu dessert too.
This place is not a deli. It is a go to- no nonsense- cheap - authentic - Hong Kong eatery. You can not go wrong with any of the things on the menu. The food is cheap.
Cooking Hong Kong food is like cooking steak. It is easy to cook, hard to mess up, but when you do, you deserve to die. This place does not mess up!
Come here for the breakfast menu. I usually get the Satay beef with instant noodle with Iced Hong Kong milk tea. I also recommend the cheung fun (old school and hard to find cooked right) with pork and preserved vegetables. It tastes like beef chow fun but ten times better.
Service is there but don't expect much. It is a Chinese joint after all, and is suppose to be like a "deli". The food comes out quick and you can buy some lottery while waiting for it. (A plus)
It is hard to find parking so beware. They accept cash only, and no 50s or 100s.
The food is just amazing. The food portion sizes are large. And the price was very good.
