We arrived around 1:30 for brunch this Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated and had our order taken immediately. We loved the chill vibes and cozy decor. We ordered the Green Chile Pulled Pork Hash, Chicken Fried Steak, Serrano Cheese Grits, Thai-Licious, and a Cinnamon Orange Latte. We were impressed that our food was ready 10 minutes after we ordered. Our entrees were hot and fresh, but we found the food to be bland. I was pleased to discover the Cinnamon Orange Latte as I enjoy unique coffees and found it to be delicious. The Thai-Licious was okay but not as flavorful nor strong as other Thai coffees we’ve had. The staff was friendly and attentive through our visit. We thought the service and ambience were great, so we’re interested in trying some of the other dishes and the craft cocktails.
Went there a couple of Sundays ago for brunch after church. Normally I dislike Nutella but opted for their banana and Nutella waffle. I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and had a great time. The only thing I did not like was that, the stools at the bar were high so my feet fell asleep. Otherwise it was a great time and I will surely be back.
One of the most reliable brunch spots in Fort Worth. It's one of my first thoughts when I hear "brunch," from the ambience to the menu variety. There are sweet and savory selections - I opted for banana waffle years back, but have since then gone for the green chile pulled pork every time, swapping out the grits for fruit. The pork is fork-tender every time, and the portions are respectable. The service is always consistent, and the decor and feel of the restaurant make for a comfortable and locally set brunch spot. The only hesitation I have is the pricing in comparison with some of the items ($14 for one waffle) and the lack of a memorable flavor in some of the dishes I have tried, but they more than make up for it with their ingredients, service, and environment!
