We had The Candied Yam cater for our office at Crowe Horwath. During tax season we are always looking for exciting vendors to feed our crew, and these people hit the mark! The staff was very friendly and the food got over the moon raves! One employee remarked, "This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long long time. The fried chicken was to die for and the sweet potato corn muffin has no comparison. Mac & cheese and candied yams were sublime. With beans and greens like theirs, I could become a vegetarian." Thank you so much! We WILL be calling you again to try more of your delicious food!

I have been gone from Virginia for 20 years and always hoped for a place with good southern/soul food. The food is incredibly good, portions are large, the young man working the counter was very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Would highly recommend.

Great customer service, you get your money's worth of food, they have the best Mac & Cheese in town, The sweet potato tartlets melt in your mouth and I'm not normally a fan of sweet potato pie but those changed my mind. Stop in and give them a try
