One of my absolute favorite restaurants! I’m from the Eastern Shore / Delmarva area and as a bit of a crab cake snob, they make some of the best I’ve ever had! Everything we’ve chosen on the menu is divine and it’s a wonderful place to go if you want “fancier” vibes while still remaining casual.

We have been to Greenville a few times and somehow have missed Sassafras. This is by far the best meal I have had in Greenville. We had the spicy pork tenderloin, house salad and the marinated beef tips. Wow!! Everything was delicious. Service was great. The GM even came out to check on customers, which is such a rare treat these days. We will definitely be back, maybe tomorrow...

The owner was amazing, my steak was over cooked and he personally came by to make sure everything was taken care of, he even gave me a dessert free , my food was awesome and the service was great Definitely recommend everyone to try
