The food was great and so was the service. Katie, our waitress was more than just helpful. She was down to earth real, treated us like we come in there daily, and represented nothing short of southern hospitality. She brought a slew of samples on the different drinks that are offered during an ALL Day Happy Hour on Tuesday. Then, she even spoke with the cook to see if they would serve a dozen fried oysters that I had been craving. It's not on the menu, but since it wasn't overly busy, they were willing to make it for me. I'm so full, I've literally forgotten what we ordered for our dinner entrees! I snapped a pic, ate half, and took the rest home. Great place, all around!
Nice relaxing place to get some good seafood and drinks. Clean establishment with friendly staff.we came for a late lunch and ordered the very delicious Créole Seafood Dip, which is accompanied by toasted bread chips. For the main course, I had the Pastalaya, which was tasty, but I wish it had some good kick to it. We also ordered the perfectly balanced Caribbean Blackened Mahi and topped it all off with the Acadian Bread Pudding , which was amazing. Definitely plan on returning to try some other dishes.
Husband had Catfish Pontchartrain and I had the Voodoo Chicken, both with Cajun mashed potatoes. For a franchise restaurant I didn't expect much ( we've been to New Orleans a few times) but, WOW I was amazed. The food was absolutely delicious, not too salty, good size portions, reasonably priced and extremely tasty. Restaurant is very open and gets loud and hard to hear. Server was attentive. Nothing fancy about restaurant but food was spot on good for Cajun style.
First time here. Did not disappoint. I had the blackened redfish Rockefeller and hubby had shrimp po boy. Katie was our server and she was awesome! We definitely will be back!
After listing 105 Mayme Ct Madison Robert N. Hoff and I ran to Hendersonville for Cajun food. We had grilled oysters, gumbo ya ya, crayfish etoutfee, jambalaya, chicken wings and red beans and rice. For dessert fried cheesecake with bourbon caramel sauce and whipped cream.😋 😋
I love everything about Cajun cuisine. I’m glad this restaurant opened a location in Hendersonville. 🥳 The food was delicious as always. We sat outside this time, but our servers still periodically checked on us and refilled our drinks. See pictures below for our wonderful meal. I forgot to take pictures of the desserts - the bourbon caramel beignets before we gobbled down.
The food was fantastic! I had the voodoo chicken, and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly! My coworker had bayou pasta, and he said it was great. Had a good kick to it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Ambience & Service
Low and behold we have found our best in Tennessee server, (Madison) and we met Logan and Michael are the Operating Managers this evening. We are newbies at Cajun Steamer and Madison is the BEST bartender/server in all of Tennessee ! We know her from a previous restaurant relationship.
The restaurant has 2 levels and atmosphere is comfortable and laid
back and cozy!
Food- Everything I had was delicious and pleasing to the eyes. I was trying to find something that would give me a reason to rate less than 5 stars but I couldn’t find anything. Even the restroom for ladies was clean as late as it was in the early evening.
I highly recommend that you take the time to check it out. Hands down!!!
Thanks you all from the hostess to the dishwasher. (Yes we met him too!)
Overall the restaurant was good but not perfect. My son loved the burger but my husband's catfish was a little bit cold. My mango salsa only had two pieces of mango and the coconut rice tasted more like a dessert than something to pair with your dinner. However, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the blackened seasoning was fantastic. We had two drinks, three entrees and an order of the alligator bites and we shared beignets for dessert and it came out to about $100.
The food was good. The price was good. The service was good. i give this place an A+ and video review coming soon to Jack on the Go Show onYoutube on YouTube.
