The food was great and so was the service. Katie, our waitress was more than just helpful. She was down to earth real, treated us like we come in there daily, and represented nothing short of southern hospitality. She brought a slew of samples on the different drinks that are offered during an ALL Day Happy Hour on Tuesday. Then, she even spoke with the cook to see if they would serve a dozen fried oysters that I had been craving. It's not on the menu, but since it wasn't overly busy, they were willing to make it for me. I'm so full, I've literally forgotten what we ordered for our dinner entrees! I snapped a pic, ate half, and took the rest home. Great place, all around!
Nice relaxing place to get some good seafood and drinks. Clean establishment with friendly staff.we came for a late lunch and ordered the very delicious Créole Seafood Dip, which is accompanied by toasted bread chips. For the main course, I had the Pastalaya, which was tasty, but I wish it had some good kick to it. We also ordered the perfectly balanced Caribbean Blackened Mahi and topped it all off with the Acadian Bread Pudding , which was amazing. Definitely plan on returning to try some other dishes.
Husband had Catfish Pontchartrain and I had the Voodoo Chicken, both with Cajun mashed potatoes. For a franchise restaurant I didn't expect much ( we've been to New Orleans a few times) but, WOW I was amazed. The food was absolutely delicious, not too salty, good size portions, reasonably priced and extremely tasty. Restaurant is very open and gets loud and hard to hear. Server was attentive. Nothing fancy about restaurant but food was spot on good for Cajun style.
