Authentic and casual spot offering weekday lunch specials for $7-$9. Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. There's a condiments bar so you can customize your $2.39 tacos with cilantro, onions, salsa, grilled jalapenos and guacamole. The cabeza (cow head) was a little dry, but the pastor (seasoned pork) was good. Servings were small, so you probably need at least 4 tacos if you're hungry.
I liked this little restaurant very much. It's located in the commercial side of Hendersonville and it's much better to eat here than in all those stale and generic food chains. The food is prepared with care and delicacy and there's a section where you can help yourself to some excellent sauces, including grilled jalapeños. I recommend it for lunch.
Great service and FABULOUS FOOD!! We were visiting from Tennessee and stopped in for a bite to eat and was glad we did. If we lived in the area I would definitely be back. If you live around here and don't know about this restaurant you should definitely check it out. Very good portion size, great taste and fair price.
