My wife and I just found this place on Yelp and decided to pick up some food and give it a try. We are always on the hunt for good street tacos and usually leave disappointed. Tonight this was not the case, dinner was great! The meat had excellent flavor and was good quality there wasn’t big fatty pieces. The beans and rice were also delicious, and my wife was a huge fan of their avocado crema and green salsa. She said the avocado crema had a really good flavor and that the green salsa wasn’t very hot but also had a really good flavor. The place was clean, staff was nice and quick. We have found our new favorite High Desert spot and will definitely be back to try more food!
For many long years, scientists have argued, "What is the best taco shop in the greater High Desert Area?" Worry not dear reader, for I am here to give you that answer.
Nestled next to a Barbershop and a Gas station, Tacos Choix is a bit of a hidden gem. You wouldn't really know it was there if you were casually driving along the road, which is tragic as it is here you'll find some of the best tacos in the city.
The selection of tacos available is quite hefty, with some staples like Carne Asada, but they also have a few rarer meats as well (I won't spoil the surprises, you'll have to try them yourself.)
The menu is pretty expansive, they serve Tacos, Quesadillas, Tortas, Mariscos, and a few specials that rotate out on a daily schedule.
Their drink selection is decent as well, with a special mention to the Horchata, as its quite tasty.
Overall, I think Tacos Choix is a great place to stop by, please don't miss out on their great meals.
