A hidden gem!
The food was so delicious! We started with the guacamole appetizer and the shredded beef nachos which were both really good.
We also ordered the Al pastor tacos and the beef fajitas and absolutely loved both!
For dessert we tried the helado frito and really enjoyed it. The only thing I'd ask for next time is not sprinkles on the ice cream, but other than that it was soo yummy!
The atmosphere is great and the service was incredible. We went with our baby boy and they made us feel welcome throughout our entire visit.
I went there for lunch so the service was quick since they had only 2 customers. Ordered Taco salad with beef which was good. Not enough dressing and not so fresh that you say wow. But acceptable. Inside the restaurant is beautiful , Mexican handcuffs everywhere with beautiful tables but the chairs reminded me the kindergartners. Too small for an adult.
The food at Paquitos is delicious, fresh and the perfect portions. I highly recommend the Poblano Mole , it's a rich and flavorful traditional dish. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful with lots of beautiful art and interesting decor. This is a perfect spot for a date night, anniversary or family outing.
Unfortunately our server left a lot to be desired. Our server neglected our table, acted as though we were an inconvenience and was wearing an unfriendly expression. I understand that sometimes wait staff have multiple tables to attend to and can't always give their best or full attention, however the restaurant was at less than half of their capacity and our server was noticeably more attentive to other tables around us. We were a party of four, we ordered drinks, appetizers, as well as entrees, yet our server only passed by our table when we placed our initial order, once more when we waved them over to refill our waters and finally when we requested the check. Overall it wasn't the best experience, however the food was delicious enough to give it a second chance at a later time.
