I was on vacation and my husband and I took a chance of stopping by this place to eat. Must say, I was skeptical at first, since it was empty, but the meal was amazing. We ordered curry goat, rice and vegetables. My husband and I shared a plate.The goat had a spicy kick to it. My mom is Jamaican and can cook real good, but I must say the food was better than my mom's. The owner came out and spoke with us and she was really nice. I also must add that the food was piping hot, unlike the other restaurants that we dined at for the week. I hate getting cold food or lukewarm, but the food here was hot. We wanted to return before the end of our vacation, but we never made it back to that end of town.
Love this place found out about it through uber eats then realized how close it was to me and went again had the jerk chicken so far and the oxtail it was delicious I love restaurants like this I support small businesses I called 10min before I got there to order by the phone she had amazing customer service helping me understand the menu and different rice and sides and by the time I got there my food was ready to go I spent sometime speaking to her and she advised they will be having Sunday football parties starting soon and also some other things I’ll recommend this place to everyone that likes island food the perfect spices!! #supportsmallbusinesses
I ordered the steamed fish and it was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back!!
