When I eat at Dave and Busters I sort of know I’m going to order food that is going to be unhealthy but delicious. This isn’t the type of place I’d order a healthy salad or a chicken breast, no ways, I’m going for the nachos or the French Dip or a cheeseburger!
That’s what we ended up ordering, and everything was pretty tasty. They had a play and eat promotion so we also bought a $40 play thing along with one of the dishes which essentially made our $17 nachos cost around $4. I forget how all of it was arranged.
I also got a nice cold Blue Moon beer, so refreshing!
The games are sort of what you’d expect, our daughter loved the hungry hungry hippos game and has been playing with one of the cars she “earned” from her tickets. We also did a rubber ducky claw machine downstairs and it went crazy and allowed us to play 5 times in a row, so my daughter was ecstatic to win 5 ducks with 1 play.
If this was just a restaurant I’d give it maybe 4 stars, but as a whole experience I give it 5 stars as long as you set your expectations on what D&B is going to be.
My Parmesan Chicken was just okay, with the pasta being a bit drier than the last visit, but nothing I can’t get over. My boyfriend got the loco moco and was shocked to see the patty cooked medium/medium well but ate it regardless, and he rates it a 8/10. Our go-to appetizer before a meal that really sets the tone, is the XXL Garlic Parmesan Truffle Fries. Good thing we finished the entire tray of fries before our actual dinner so we were satisfied already. It comes with a must-try Garlic Pesto Aioli sauce and pairs really well 🤌🏼 The service this time was alright, guy appeared to be new because he had a trainer checking in with us as well. I will say the trainer tended to us more than the server but again, nothing I can’t get over. Upstairs the arcade is pretty average but I do notice the relatively new additions to the games and you can be entertained for a good hour or two especially if you have kids. Good luck if you sit at the bar and the seats aren’t exactly in front of the bartenders’ face. When we sat, we waited about 8 mins to have our order taken. After we had been waiting already for a few minutes, another couple sat on the same side as us, and the bartender immediately went over to them and I had to make a motion with my head toward the bartender for them to notice and get our order. Luckily the drinks are nicely made each time.
This place is an ultimate destination for all your entertainment needs. Whether you're craving delicious food, refreshing drinks, or looking to indulge in gaming, this venue has it all! After catching a movie, my friends and I consistently find ourselves gravitating towards this spot to savor a cold beer and delectable food while immersing ourselves in arcade games or shooting hoops on the basketball. The convenience of reloading your card and simply scanning it adds to the seamless experience. However, the highlight for us has to be the VR (Virtual Reality) experience, which never fails to deliver an exhilarating and unforgettable adventure. We absolutely love it!"
