I walked here from Waikiki thinking that the prices would be under $10 for ramen based on the old menu but discovered upon sitting down that the prices had gone up. (I uploaded the new menu prices for your convenience). I ordered the black tonkatsu ramen which had subtle hints of garlic throughout the broth. The noodles were cooked well as well as the egg. Also tried the gyoza which came recommended in the reviews. The filling was delicious but I was disappointed to see that the gyoza was soggy and not crispy. Also ordered the fried rice which was quite good! The flavours were very well balanced! My wife ordered the spicy tantan ramen and it was very reminiscent of Dan dan noodles. Overall, it wasn’t a bad meal. There are just a few improvements that need to be made to make this a must visit place! You won’t be blown away by the meals here but you won’t be disappointed either!

It's definitely not the best ramen in Hawai'i, as everybody pleads, but it IS pretty good though overpriced due to the hype
