Super friendly service and really good food.
I had the 2 eggs, roasted veg, and sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked well and the vegetables (okra, carrot and some sort of kale (?) succotash) were roasted to perfection. The toast came without butter or spread, but it really didn't need it.
My partner had the Dutch Baby and was very happy.
The food here was very good and we only had to wait around 15-20min which was very reasonable. Seats are very limited here.
The steak and eggs were fantastic. The steak was cooked medium rare and was much bigger than I expected. It went very well with the sort of cream of spinach (but a local variety which I forget) and the sunny side up eggs. The grilled local vegetables were delicious as well.
The soufflé omelette was SO SOFT. I was shocked at the texture and the omelette itself was delicious. I was not a huge fan of fete cheese in general but it was not bad here. You can sub the fete out.
The Dutch baby was ok. It was a good way to finish off the meal, but I don’t think I would get it again.
Parking will have to be street parking if you’re lucky or one of the many municipal lots in Chinatown.
Hubby and I throughly enjoyed our breakfast. Due to a no-grains/keto lifestyle, we asked for no bread and the waiter and chef(s) generously offered to add an additional sausage and veggies to one of our entrees. We were satisfied without feeling stuffed or sluggish. The staff was very warm and prompt...couldn't ask for more genuinely nice customer service. We'll be back!!
