This Taco Bell is pretty consistent with their food quality and speed. The tall, dark haired cashier is very kind and considerate to both diners, as well as the small handful of people that just stop in to get water and use the restroom. In return, the latter seem to be respectful in and around the restaurant, and I've even seen them cleaning up the parking lot at night. The "security guard" gives off a bit of a creepy vibe, and speaks loudly and disparagingly about customers. A few of the female workers are cranky, but others seem friendly if quiet. The interior, including bathrooms, is always very clean and well stocked. The drive thru is open 24hours, which is nice, and the food is always consistent there as well. Taco Bell has always been vegetarian -friendly, but is now stretching this to offer many vegan options as well, including a vegan nacho cheese dip that is pretty awesome!
My son loves Taco Bell. We came all the way from Australia. I have to drive him 12mins to find a nearest store. He is a satisfying boy and there is not a lot of in Melbourne, Australia.
Honolulu used to have 3 Taco Bells. This one, Kapahulu, and Kapiolani/McCully. After Kapiolani permanently closed, there has always been an insane line here. Expect this to be a 45 minute experience. The food is consistent, my order has always been correct. I mean it’s Taco Bell you know what you’re gonna get. But 2 Taco Bells is not enough Taco Bell’s per capita to support Honolulu. I’ve been inside, they’ve got as many employees as would fit back there working as hard as they can. They have just been setup for failure. Also it would be cool if when you mobile order and come into the store to pickup, that they call your name when it’s done instead of putting it on the shelf and making you get one of their attention to ask if that is yours.
