We had a couple night out and we decided to meet at Blue Fish on Smith in Downtown Houston. It was a great atmosphere and the food was great. The place was buzzing with people. Seat outside if you can get a table. I would recommend to call ahead and reserve your table. The average for people was about $70.00. Here are some dishes we have ordered....
I have finally been able to show up and must say I am very Impressed. The sushi is so great on the palate and is well prepared with beautiful plating. The calamari has a light breading with not too much seasoning which blends well with their 2 dipping sauces. The Rainbow roll is worth every penny. From the presentation to the stomach every aspect was satisfying. The veggie roll wasn't to vegetarian where it feels like eating a ton of vegitables (I'm not a vegetarian). I had the spicy mango cocktail dring. Man it was amazing. It does not just taste like mango. Has just enough cayenne I'm it to not be overbearing. Mackenzie, a great waitress, and the general manager Amber were very helpful, open minded, and kind. I appreciate the service and based on that alone is reason enough to come back. Be ware that it is downtown so parking for free is not easy especially after 8p.m. Valet is 20. Over all very good place for sushi lovers and good for first time sushi trying people.
Went here during their happy hour. The sushi was very good and well presented. The price made it amazing value and the service was quick and friendly.
The desert was very tasty which I find uncommon at sushi restaurants.
