I've been by multiple times now. It's like a burrito bar but with fish and rice. The combinations available were unfamiliar on my first visit, so I was uncertain where to start. No need to worry. There is a "menu" that acts as a starting point for the uncertain. Everything on the "menu" makes an excellent, flavorful and textured, meal. I love that there is no one perfect bite in any given bowl. Every bite is a unique combination of ingredients which keeps it interesting from first to last bite.
I've been to Seaside Poke twice now. Once when they were just a pop up shop and recently at their established brick and mortar. I only have positive things to say about this place. From the quality of the food, the endless options of toppings, and the atmosphere. These guys went the extra mile to add texture to their food. Texture!! I know a lot of poke shops are popping up around our city but this place is truly, one of a kind! After a while it's easy for the all the poke bowls to blend in together in terms of taste but not Seaside. Their brilliant thought process to incorporate only the freshest ingredients and unique toppings really sets their poke bowls apart from the rest. Side note but one of their owners, Anh Tai, is such a humble and kind guy. Chat with him if you get he chance and let him guide you through building your bowl!
The best poke I've ever had on the "mainland". Service is helpful and very friendly, casual, cool place plus you can take your food to the bar next door and have a drink with your poke! Plentiful, free parking at the lot across the street. I hope they continue to expand their menu a little and offer something besides poke (for that one person who doesn't love poke).
