First time here. I got a gyro sandwich with extra meat and onion rings and an iced tea. The staff/owners were friendly and the food came out quick. Everything looked and tasted good. Fresh onions, lettuce and tomatoe, plenty of meat and soft pita bread. This is close to my office I am sure I will be back.

We came here with my husband for the crawfish. They were live which beats the other places where they boil frozen ones. We ordered 5lbs of crawfish with 3 pounds of GIANT shrimp, corn and potatoes with medium heat. The chef prepared it magically, very nice guy who served us well. The food was delicious, but was even better was the customer service. This is a genuine small business owned by a guy with a heart of gold and it shows how he takes care of his customers, just like family. Great atmosphere. A must stop! We were so full and about to pop at the end of the food. Just an FYI. You get every Penny's worth. 5+++++ Nick! Thank you.

Finally got a chance to try this place, and it was well worth the wait. It's neat, clean, well run, and Nick himself is a great guy. And it's open for dine in and no masks required. He's not only nice to customers, but also to his staff, and he jumps in to help them as needed. I watched him cooking shish kabob and a couple of other dishes as well. My wife's gyros was stuffed full and the pita bread was hot and fresh. And yes, he prepares gyros the way it should be.... on a vertical rotisserie spit. The meat was hot and juicy, the tzatziki sauce had cucumber and dill in it, and my wife said she thinks he makes the sauce on premise. All for only $7.99. You can also upsize it to a large for $2.00. it's also available as a platter. As for me, I had two plates. And as a native of Chicago, I was pleasantly surprised. My first choice was the Italian Beef on a Gonnella roll. Tasty, plenty of it, with onions, roasted peppers and giardenera and au jus on the side. Next time I'll have it dipped. My second choice was a Vienna Beef Polish Sausage. He calls it Chicago Style, when I asked for it the way I know it and how we call it in Chicago, Jewtown Style. That's the Polish on a poppyseed bun, dressed with mustard, onions and sport peppers. He also offers Shawarma, Muffuletta, and platters, wings, pizza and a whole lot more. Got a taste for falafel? Check. Want a wrap? No problem. Boiled seafood or a catfish platter? He's got you covered! Want a steak? 3 different kinds await you. Stuffed grape leaves? He's got that too. Looking for a healthy choice in food? He's got six of them as both wraps and salads. Looking for Halal? Look no further! He's got you. But wait! There's more! Want a cold bottle of beer? He has both domestic and import. No draft beer right now due to COVID regulations in effect in the city. Frozen Margarita? Four sizes. My wife ordered one to go and loved it. Frozen Daiquiris? 25 flavors including Liquid Marijuana, Hypnotic and Octane 190 Long Island Iced Tea? You betcha! How about some Jell-O shots? 5 flavors and you can buy them singly for $1.59 or by the bucket for $12.00 Great for an end of week, after work celebration. Outdoor dining is also open, but we sat inside... This time. He's open Monday through Saturday, but Never On Sunday. I feel a song coming on! Located at the corner of 290 and Mangum, with both parking and drive thru, Nick's Grill can accommodate you any which way you want. Take a stop and say hi to Nick! We'll be back again soon! I forgot to take pictures this time but I will next time and update the review. UPDATE: Today I had gyros and a Chicago Polish and my wife had Roast Beef Muffuletta and we split an order of fries. And at promised, here's the pictures!

Hidden gem! This place has a little bit of everything and every time I order it's amazing. Drive thru, patio, sit down. We just had the best crab, shrimp, and crawfish. Nick owned, Nick approved!

This is a great place. All of the food is made when you order. It can take 5-20 minutes depending on what you order. This is a privately owned business so don’t expect it to run like other fast food places. The prices are reasonable and the menu has a lot to choose from.

Nick's Grill is so good! I met Nick himself and he's really nice. The food is awesome because you get a ton and it's cheap. My friends and I even got some of the daiquiris. We got small drinks, but they were strong! Great, local restaurant in Houston, TX.

Surprisingly good! I love the variety of food choices from Chicgo style hot dogs to Mediterranean dishes. This place reminds me of some of the many casual fast food style restaurants I frequented as a resident of Chicago, Illinois.

So I had to stop in the middle of eating. This is the go to spot. This was our first time here. Nick is awesome, took care of us like family. I ordered the crawfish, and they are fresh. The shrimp are bigger than me and the erotic watermelon, was very erotic 🤣. Nick’s is worth every penny . C’ya later nick .

Great place!!! You can bring anyone there because they have such a wide variety of food so even the picky eaters have something to eat! The prices are extremely affordable and the food is delicious. I’m serious, try the pizza. One of the best I’ve tried. We’ve only ever had take out because we love the fact that we found a place with REAL food that also has a drive thru. It’s so convenient, but after reading other reviews, I might make some time to dine-in because the atmosphere looks great as well. My friend is already telling her husband that they have to eat here more often because of how delicious it is! 10000% recommend.

So impressed with this place. Decided to stop and get a daiquiri, but wanted to try out the food and support the neighborhood restaurants. It totally delivered. The pastrami muffuletta melt was fantastic- flavorful and quality. I was even able to get home, take my dog for a walk, feed him and when I finally sat down to eat it my sandwich was still steaming hot. I will recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be bringing my family when they come and visit. Thank you all for a great experience!
