Chili's graciously offered a free meal on Veterans Day, which I humbly accepted. Did not expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised!
A decent selection from the limited menu for this event. I picked the chicken tenders (topped with honey chipotle sauce), that came with mac-n- cheese and some "street corn". It came out quickly, fresh and tasted delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
Short of five stars overall, mostly for service. Waitress was less than attentive. When it came time to tip, I considered who I would be tipping. Host seated me, waitress took my order, kitchen staff brought out the food, and some other random person refilled my water and took the empty dishes. Team effort was great, but should they be making up for the waitstaff shortcomings?
I was visiting Houston two days ago for business and stopped here for lunch. Shane was very kind and friendly. I got me a fajita trio (shrimp, steak, and chicken), and it was so good.
Today, as I was submitting my expense report for work, I noticed I had lost my receipt. I called them and got Moon (the manager) on the phone. He got my receipt in a heartbeat and sent it to me via email. A great experience with Shane and Moon, and the food was great!
Chili's is a good family option. The prices are reasonable, the food is ok , and the people are friendly.
