It's nice to have a Starbucks in the Village again. As a new location, they are equipped to make the nitro cold brew, something that older locations just won't be able to do. If you haven't had it, it really reminds me of a cross between coffee and beer. It's a bit odd, but there are many who really love it. They were willing to let me sample it as well. While it isn't the biggest Starbucks or the one with the most seats, it is reasonable and provides a ton of outlets, making this the perfect place to get some work done.
I love this particular StarBucks. For the last several months, it has been easily accessible because of its proximity to both school and home. I have spent many a pleasant evening, occupying one of the tables and sipping some fanciful coffee drink. The staff are always very pleasant and are happy to make recommendations, if you are interested in sampling some new beverage. It can get a bit busy, particularly in the late afternoons, but that is a function of its location and the immense popularity of the StarBucks brand.
This Rice Village Starbucks is one of the bigger stores in town. The store was one of the sponsors of the Rice Village Spring Street Festival which was held on the street in front of the store today (04/07/2018). Highlights of the festival were the five fashion shows, four of the fashion shows were modelled by four local fashion bloggers and one high school student, each show sponsored by a store in the Rice Village. The last show was a dog fashion show featuring different dog breeds.
