The best fried chicken in Houston, Texas. The owner family moved here from New Orleans. The prices is reasonable, the fried chicken is hot, fresh, and spiced just right. Combo comes with a jalapeño, and sides include dirty rice, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, French fries, cole slaw, perhaps more that I don't recall. They have several home made desserts including a very nice peach cobbler. Most of the locations have limited seating. The one near Northline has NO seating at all.

I've heard about Frenchy 's for a while and had been anxious to try them. I wasn't disappointed. The food was very good. Loved the biscuits, especially. They should open a restaurant in Katy. They'd run Popeye's out of business, as they have seriously fallen off.

The manager is heaven sent! I saw him buy a family without money food from his own pocket! Awesome show of humanity!
