Chelsey was by far the best bartender we have had. She is amazing and funny. Josue and Philippe were some really great bartenders tending to our every need they were spot on tonight. I would have felt bad leaving a tip less than 20% knowing how hard they worked to keep me happy.
I have been to Houston numerous times, and I've never been to The Rouxpour for dinner. While I have really been missing out. We were a party of 4 who arrived at 1800 for dinner. We had no problem getting a table. The hostesses were very friendly. Our waitress was top notch, when I come back to Houston, I will definitely be sitting in her section again. If you visit this location, you will not go wrong sitting in Maria C section. We ordered two appetizers, and both were delicious. Our entrées were seasoned and prepared perfectly. We all left out pleasantly pleased about the overall dining experience.
When you first walk in the door you see a sight that says the world is your oyster ! the decor in there was peaceful and calm. They do have a full bar before you make it to your table and or booth. There is a nice outside eating area that is connected to the outside kids play space for the mall. The service was absolutely great! Our waiter was constantly bringing lemons to our table for my oysters lol! And always remembering to refill our glasses.the food that I ordered was a good portion other than the boudin balls i paid 35 dollars for them i paid 34 for a dozen oysters but they have different prices for the different oysters
The red snapper was 35 it was apart of a dinner special. Their menu has changed they do not have the oyster royal any more and they also don't have the crab fingers. They also do not serve burgers or any type of sandwich after lunch time. They also dont serve sweet tea. But overall it was a nice experience
