Great Place to Eat. Several of the other reviews confused me, so I decided to write my own. We live very close to this Jason's Deli and have eaten here dozens of times. I have never had bad customer service because I don't expect much customer service from a chain cafeteria-style restaurant. You place your order, go pay, and they bring you your food when it's ready. Everyone has always been very polite and we've never had a bad meal here. I much prefer their food to the other, similar restaurants like McAlister's and Paradise cafe (although those aren't bad places either). I do feel like they care about what goes in their food and I love that I can get blue corn chips and hummus with my muffaletta (which are incredible and my favorites there, btw). Plus, you get free soft serve with anything you buy. And I do think they are committed to healthier, less processed foods - you can tell by their menu and is another reason we prefer to go here.

I don't know - it's affordable, good food, and reasonably speedy. I'm not sure why people are writing such negative reviews unless they're just trying to talk bad about the restaurant.

Menu offers something for everyone. I like that you don't have to bus your own dishes like Panera. Skin on baked potato was burnt. Otherwise good.

Refreshing. The trend of the "fresh" approach was slightly overused. Franchised chains such as Panera, McCalisters, and Paradise Cafe have a few good items, but often leave me thinking the picture and presentation are better than the food. My brother suggested Jason's Deli, he tried it in college and raved. Having infinitely more refined taste than my kid brother, I was skeptical.
He was right! My sandwich was fantastic, each bite was full of flavor, the bread, the aioli, the meat. I rarely finish any meal, but this one I scraped the plate. I tried the beef stew, it was so full of rich flavor. Hearty and meaty, it really tasted better than moms.
I've used them twice to cater lunches now, and found their service to match their flavor. Consistent with quality, and fabulous food. It's like wearing high heels that our comfortable. It rarely happens. SO glad they've come to Indy.

I tried this place for the first time this evening 30 minutes before closing. They were still friendly and made an excellent meal. Pricing is surprisingly on the cheaper side and I’m in love. They deliver as well so they get an A+ from me! I ordered a full sandwich, cheesecake slice, and a small fountain for like $11 and it ended up including a bag of chips, pickle, and mints.

This was my first time eating here and I enjoyed it. I had ordered the chicken pot pie as shown only $6 dollars. Staff was really courteous and helpful. I definitely would come back here again.

So...let me get this straight... You're a deli with free ice cream? Heck yeah! We were stopping at another business nearby to pick up some stuff and needed a quick bite. This was right next door and none of the 4 of us had ever heard of it let alone tried it. We were SO glad we stopped in. The staff was so patient and helpful for first-timers. They offered suggestions on popular items and helped us through the menu. We all tried something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. This is a very family-friendly place as well. We can't wait to return.

I started liking Jason's Deli when I stopped ordering soups ... they're just not very good. Sandwiches are good, but their best offering is their excellent salad bar. There are precious few places to get a great salad, especially in a family friendly restaurant. The soft serve ice cream is a bonus, and a real kid pleaser. Staff at this location have always been pleasant and professional.

Love the fact they have the calories posted on the menu. The service was OK, but the food was great and the salad bar looked awesome. Love the idea of free ice cream, the atmosphere was nice. Could be a little cleaner, not dirty but not tip top.

This place is wonderful. Lots of seating, really good food, and the service is great. These people do an excellent job keeping the restaurant clean and the salad bar stocked—which I may add has a wonderful selection of veggies AND sweets. And those little cornbreads are so tasty!! Can't wait to come back.

Our family loves Jason's Deli. We eat there about once a month. They are always clean & courteous. I always get their soup & salad bar. My children enjoy the kids meals & my husband usually orders a sandwich. We have never been disappointed in our dining experience here.

Got there late with a hungry soccer team and parents. Not a problem accommodating all of us and were very nice and helpful. Good food and healthy options for all of us. Kids really enjoyed the included ice cream machine.

Well-stocked, diverse salad bar. Had it with the chicken-pot-pie soup, which indeed tastes very much like chicken pot pie. Ice cream, pudding, and mousse were desserts available at the salad bar for no extra cost. Facility clean and well-maintained. Wider variety of food options than many places. Not inexpensive, but good!

My husband and I visit Jason's Deli on a fairly regular basis because we love the salad bar. But now I've also used this location for catering for the first time and wow, I was blown away. They are so efficient and out of around 35 lunches not a single thing was incorrect. Everybody's food was perfectly assembled and delicious. I will definitely be pushing to use their catering again for future events.

Great salad bar! However, it does seem like they have trouble keeping it stocked. They seem to be constantly low on ranch dressing and cottage cheese, among other things. But it's a great salad bar, at a great price. I wish they had a location on the south side, because we aren't in the Castleton area to often.

Irish potato soup is delicious, especially with the bacon and cheese on top of it. Salad bar is about average for places with salad bars. Lots of good people working here, and they're quick to take care of things. Depending on when you go, it can be quite busy, but if you go around 11:00 there isn't much of a line.

After finding great deals at Nordstrom Rack, my friend and I decided to try Jason's Deli. We were not disappointed with our experience. We both ordered a half sandwich and one time trip to the salad bar. The half Reuben was delicious and didn't skimp on the corned beef. Salad bar offered a variety of salad toppings and everything was fresh. I tried the Cucumber Dill Vinaigrette which was light and refreshing. The only "ding" I had was we asked for no sidea with the sandwiches and we both received chips. Walking into the restaurant, it reminded me of Panera bread, minus the salad bar. Food was fresh and tasted good. For two lunch combos with small drinks, our bill was $29, but I expected it given its location (north side of Indy). Service was satisfactory, nothing over the top. I would visit again

This place is awesome. Free ice cream! Really fresh food . Very vegetarian oriented with some good stuff for the meat eaters as well. Easy to get to and clean. Staff wasn't as friendly as most other stores . Food still rocks
