Great Place to Eat. Several of the other reviews confused me, so I decided to write my own. We live very close to this Jason's Deli and have eaten here dozens of times. I have never had bad customer service because I don't expect much customer service from a chain cafeteria-style restaurant. You place your order, go pay, and they bring you your food when it's ready. Everyone has always been very polite and we've never had a bad meal here. I much prefer their food to the other, similar restaurants like McAlister's and Paradise cafe (although those aren't bad places either). I do feel like they care about what goes in their food and I love that I can get blue corn chips and hummus with my muffaletta (which are incredible and my favorites there, btw). Plus, you get free soft serve with anything you buy. And I do think they are committed to healthier, less processed foods - you can tell by their menu and is another reason we prefer to go here.
I don't know - it's affordable, good food, and reasonably speedy. I'm not sure why people are writing such negative reviews unless they're just trying to talk bad about the restaurant.
Menu offers something for everyone. I like that you don't have to bus your own dishes like Panera. Skin on baked potato was burnt. Otherwise good.
Refreshing. The trend of the "fresh" approach was slightly overused. Franchised chains such as Panera, McCalisters, and Paradise Cafe have a few good items, but often leave me thinking the picture and presentation are better than the food. My brother suggested Jason's Deli, he tried it in college and raved. Having infinitely more refined taste than my kid brother, I was skeptical.
He was right! My sandwich was fantastic, each bite was full of flavor, the bread, the aioli, the meat. I rarely finish any meal, but this one I scraped the plate. I tried the beef stew, it was so full of rich flavor. Hearty and meaty, it really tasted better than moms.
I've used them twice to cater lunches now, and found their service to match their flavor. Consistent with quality, and fabulous food. It's like wearing high heels that our comfortable. It rarely happens. SO glad they've come to Indy.
